- Report covered data from 2009.
- Several helpful diagrams illustrate the growing importance of the extractive industries to the government budget and the relative share of EI payments that come from gold, petroleum, and other commodities.
- However, the report does not contain data disaggregated by company or commodity. It also lumps together bonuses and royalties, revenue streams that should be accounted for separately.
- There is no materiality clause and no indication that government or company accounts have been audited to international standards.
- The number of companies, government entities, and revenue streams covered has increased significantly since Kyrgyzstan’s first EITI report in 2004.
- The report does not appear to be available on a government website or in any language other than English, making it far less useful to the Kyrgyz public.
